Registration Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of these terms

By submitting a registration for the ITRA Technical Rescue Congress 2026, the participant confirms that they have read and accepted these Registration Terms and Conditions.

2. Registration fees

The registration fee is USD $50 for ITRA members whose annual membership is valid at the time of registration. The registration fee for non-members is USD $100.

Eligibility for the member rate may be verified by ITRA. Where a valid membership cannot be confirmed, the non-member fee will apply.

3. Capacity and international allocation

The Congress is limited to 120 participants. Registration is subject to availability and is only secured through the official registration process.

To protect the international character of the Congress, 50% of the available places are initially reserved for participants residing outside Portugal. Any release of unfilled reserved places will be managed by the organiser.

4. Non-refundable registration

Registration fees are non-refundable. The only exception is cancellation of the Congress by the organiser, in which case the registration fee will be refunded.

5. Participants travelling by air

During registration, participants will be asked whether they intend to travel by air.

A participant travelling by air must submit proof of travel, such as a flight booking confirmation, within 15 calendar days from the date of registration.

If the required proof is not received within that period, the organiser may cancel the registration and make the place available to another participant.

6. Participant responsibilities

Participants are responsible for arranging and paying for their own travel, accommodation and transportation between Congress and workshop locations.

7. Event cancellation

If the Congress is cancelled by the organiser, registered participants will be informed using the contact details provided during registration. The organiser's refund obligation is limited to the registration fee paid.
